Coming from vines implanted in well-drained clay-limestone soils, this ruby colored wine, aromas dominating the small berries of the forest, with some notes of fresh vegetable revealing its Atlantic origin, is a very gastronomic wine. The mouth is balanced and voluminous with acidity present, tannins present and well matured, the finish reveals a harmonious freshness and roundness to give an excellent volume.
Deep ruby color aroma of red fruits and spices with a slight touch of mint. The mouth is structured and unctuous with quality smooth tannins, ending up in a balanced and harmonious after taste.
Goes very well with oven roasts and soft cheeses.
Keep in dry and fresh place, horizontally, away from direct sunlight.
Castelão, Tinta Roriz and Alicante Bouschet. Manual vintage during 4th. week of September, total stripping after reception and selective pick, fermentation in low capacity stainless steel vats, at a temperature of 24ºc, and a extensive 10 day maceration.
