The vines implanted in clay-limestone soils in the Lisbon region, are the origin of this classic wine with a beautiful ruby color, intense fruity aromas with predominance of small black fruits (plum) and some notes of mint to reveal freshness. The mouth is vibrant with balanced acidity, silky and well integrated tannins with a harmonious, balanced and good volume finish.
Granade color, elegant aromas of ripe fruits and spices, with a slight touch of vanilla. The mouth is structured and harmonious, presenting tannins of excellent quality, ending up in an extensive, silky after taste.
Goes very well with oven roasts and cheeses.
Keep in dry and fresh place, horizontally, away from direct sunlight.
Castelão, Tinta Roriz, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet. Manual vintage during 4th. week September, total stripping after reception and selective pick, fermentation in low capacity stainless steel vats, at a temperature of 24ºc, and extensive 10 day maceration. The wine was submitted to a 6 month aging in American oak barrels.
